Maya Perry, born 1994, graduated from the Yale University MFA Painting/Printmaking program. She spent her formative years performing music both solo and within the duo Laila. Her animated films have been screened at the Tricky Woman Festival, Vienna, and Lago Film Fest, Italy. She recently performed and exhibited at Kinosaito, Verplank, New York, and Perrotin Gallery, New York. She lives and works in New York City.
